Welcome to the West

Hello my name is "Fresh". I choose to take on a few roles the first being a “Creative Director”, the second a “Brand Ambassador”, then after dealing with whatever comes next, an inspiring journalist/ documentarist. On this page I will journal, write memoirs, essays and hopefully give my best work for short stories… Hope you enjoy!

I was always curious about and kept a ear out for cats like, "Stanley Tookie Williams", "Raymond Washington", "Big Rebo" "Lil Looney" and Sanyika Shakur. I remember being in high school when I first heard of the name "Tookie Williams" around the same time the "Terminator" was selected as California's new governor. Aside from, "Blue Redemption" I have read some of his other writings and as far as I know, he was a very articulate gentlemen. It's a shame we don't have a "Tookie Williams" National Holiday (At least in the West) for his overall intentions were pure, same as EastSide Raymond. #Community

I suppose my background of African American literature is what really made me curious to take that first step into an unsanctified culture. I was always enthralled by the courageous articulation of Malcolm X, Assata Shakur's fighting spirit and the Black Enterprise of Marcus Garvey. I can mention so many more, Haile Selassie, Nat Turner, Angela Davis however the main objective I was looking for, (besides rebellion) was organization. It's taken some bumps and bruises however for myself on the "West" I definitely know where I belong... Just let me know if you miss me... #Fresh
